Defragment your hard drive:  Defragmenting your hard drive will speed up file access and cause less stress on you hard drive - as it doesn't have to work as hard to find data.  We recommend defragmenting your drive at least once a month.

Windows Update:  If you are using Explorer 6.0 or later, you can update your system by going to Windows update. Click on start and then windows update or open up Internet Explorer and click on Tools > Windows update or us automatic updates for Operating Systems after windows 2000.

Virus Protection:  Ensure you have a well known virus protection program and keep the virus definitions up-to-date.  Microsoft Security Essentials is a good free choice.

Add Memory:  The cheapest and best way to speed up your computer is to add a solid state drive or memory,(Random Access Memory, “RAM”). Provide us your computer Make and model and we will find the type and maximum amount of memory your motherboard can handle.
